HONORS + AWARDS

At ASLA Florida, we are incredibly proud of our amazing members, who are always expanding the profession and its body of knowledge through their cutting-edge design ideas and techniques.

We recognize the importance of fostering this innovation, as well as chronicling and commemorating its evolution. Accordingly, we have developed a number of honors and awards programs to highlight those who inspire us.

We invite you to review the various awards programs highlighted below and participate whenever possible.

JEFFREY SIEGEL LEADERSHIP AWARD

The ASLA Florida Jeffrey Siegel Leadership Award can be awarded anytime at the will of the past presidents of the Chapter to any individual who exhibits exceptional leadership.

EXCEPTIONAL EMERGING PROFESSIONAL

The ASLA Florida Exceptional Emerging Professional Award is designed to annually recognize a landscape architect who represents the highest standard of excellence and is in the early stage of their professional life.

DESIGN AWARDS

The ASLA Florida Design Awards Program encourages the advancement, expansion, and recognition of the Landscape Architecture profession by honoring projects that blend environmental and artistic principles that emphasize beauty, function, and the sustainability.


2025 Design Award Recipients: 

In 2025, ASLA Florida awarded projects in the following categories: Climate Action Impact - Unubilt, Commercial Category, Institutional Category, Open Space Category, Philanthropic Category, Planning & Analysis Category, Research and Communications, Residential Category, Resort and Entertainment, Unbuilt Projects, Urban Design Cateogry, Environmental Sustainability Honor, and the Frederick Stresau Award.

STUDENT AWARDS OF HONOR & MERIT

The Student Awards of Honor & Merit recognize academic achievement, design competence, and interpersonal skills, and are distributed to outstanding students in programs across the country. The number of awards are based on the size of the academic program and are facilitated by the State Chapter.
