It is widely-accepted that parks and public spaces can generate significant benefits that contribute to community resiliency and sustainability. However, it is often more difficult to "walk the walk" when we try to transcend individual sites and silos to plan a community's entire parks and recreation system. In this webinar, Carlos Perez will review a new approach to parks system planning that is more comprehensive, collaborative, scientific, strategic, and implementable – and more likely to generate desired community-wide benefits.
