Mike Oliver Educational Scholarship Award
CHARLES MICHAEL OLIVER, FASLA
1944-2015
The Mike Oliver Educational Scholarship Award was established in memory of Mike Oliver, FASLA PLA (1944-2015). Mike’s 45 plus years of service to the American Society of Landscape Architects included being an active participate in and support of the mission and vision of the Society and brought this same level of dedication and commitment to local and statewide service projects. He diligently sought to promote ASLA as the soul of the profession of landscape architecture. Mike recognized that the future of our profession lies with the success of ASLA and young landscape architects who will grow the discipline into the mid-21st century. Mike served as a LARE Review instructor for more than 20 years. He was an advocate of young landscape architects, a mentor and a supporter.
