Meaningful citizen engagement is an essential component of placemaking, capturing the vision of community stakeholders in effort to net an authentic voice. This session compares best practices from placemaking plans in Tallahassee, Florida. Participants are taught meaningful engagement in diverse communities and will gain a broader understanding of the factors that influence placemaking. The panel is comprised of planning and urban design professionals actively working in the public sector, private practice, and university teaching with 40+ years of professional experience and accreditations.

This course is will provide 1 Continuing Education Credit.
