Tampa Section Christmas Party!

We're kicking off our fun, old-fashioned ASLA Florida Tampa Section Christmas by heading out into the country in the old front-wheel drive sleigh to embrace the frosty majesty of the winter landscape at John DelVitto’s house. John loves to decorate the house with Christmas lights (hopefully he’s fixed the newel post by now). 250 strands of lights: 100 individual bulbs per strand, for a grand total of 25,000 imported Italian twinkle lights. It’s a beaut’, John. Last year, his Aunt Bethany asked if his house was on fire when they pulled up from the airport.

We might do some Florida sledding, but I don’t know if I ought to go sailing down no hill with nothing between the ground and my brain but a piece of government plastic.

Yes, this is the same email as last year…but does Christmas Vacation ever get old?? Join us as we get together at John’s house for food & drinks. Weather permitting, we’ll be hanging out in the backyard around the pool.
