LARE Review: Florida Section 

Monday, February 24th | 2:00 - 3:30 PM ET

The Florida Chapter LARE Review is a one-and-a-half-hour on-line webinar presentation.  The review session will cover the following topics of study for the Florida Section, Section F, exam:  Florida plant materials, environmental characteristics, environmental and development regulations, the Florida Landscape Architecture Practice Act and associated laws and administrative codes.

Meet The Speakers:

Amy Morie, ASLA

Amy is principal of Mulberry Hill Studio. Graduating from the University of Southern California, BLA, and University of Florida, MLA, Amy worked in Los Angeles and surrounding areas with firms such as Mia Leher and Associates, Amigos de Los Rios, and others developing knowledge of design, construction documentation and project management. A Florida native, she returned to Florida and worked for UF’s Extension Service before starting Mulberry Hill, a landscape architecture and education firm focused on regenerative solutions for land, water, and the life it supports. She is an elected supervisor for the Bradford Soil and Water Conservation District and serves on the board of the Friends of Florida State Parks. Amy currently serves on ASLA Florida’s Executive Committee as the Member-at-Large for Education.


Mike Prevost, ASLA

Michael Prevost is a CLARB Certified landscape architect and LEED Accredited Professional specializing in the design of large-scale irrigation systems for other landscape architects and developers.   Mike graduated with a BLA from Mississippi State University, and Master of City Planning degree from The University of Memphis.  Mike has been an instructor for many years for FC ASLA, GCSAA, FIS and the IA, and has a broad knowledge of the environments of Florida, and the processes and procedures to practice landscape architecture in the State. 

Conservation of natural resources, and large project design management have long been parts of Mike’s professional practice.
